101 Uses for Riding Lawn Mowers Besides the Obvious?

I once saw a reality show where a man got a DUI on a riding lawn mower because he was riding it down the road to the store and he was drinking while he was driving it. I know this is rather extreme and not really a good use for a riding mower but it got me thinking about how many things I use my riding lawn mower for. Ok so I didn't come up with 101 uses but I have a few and maybe even some that you've never thought of.
Of course there's the obvious grass cutting every week in the summer. Believe me when it's 95 degrees in the shade I really appreciate being able to sit down and ride around rather than having to walk behind a push mower even if it is self-propelled.

A great accessory to have for riding lawn mowers is a little trailer to pull around behind it. I drive mine around before I cut the grass and pick, up sticks that have fallen off trees so that I don't damage the blade while cutting grass. I have saved myself a lot of trouble just by going over the yard to make sure that there are no rocks, objects or most importantly toys in the yard before I start cutting. Who hasn't been riding along on their mower and have to pick something up? Once you have it in your hand Then what do you do, throw it on the already cut grass so that you don't have to deal with it? If you use your trailer and take the time to do this before, hand it will save you the frustration.

I have used my riding lawn mower to pull out small bushes and shrubbery, it won't do anything too big but if it's too big to pull by and but too small to warrant the dooley, your trusty riding lawn mower might just do the job.

With my trailer I have used my mower to haul rocks for building a stone wall. For hauling cement to build a walkway, I've even used it to help pull my pool cover tight. Don't ask the pool guys about this one.
When I built my wooden fence around my pool, I used my mower to haul wood back and forth. I even used the seat as a saw horse it also makes a great prop for posts. I think I might even call my riding lawn mower and of course the riding lawn mower parts department at my home improvement store one of my best friends. We've been through a lot; together we have braved large hills, forging blindly through low lying branches to cut the grass under them, we've delivered wagon rides to the screams of delighted children and much more.

I am sure that it comes as no surprise that I spend a lot of time in the riding lawn mower parts section of my home improvement store. I love my riding lawn mower and reward its hard work by replacing parts that may be dismantled by falling boards or wayward tree branches.
